Barak Albert

B. Albert K9 Owner - Lead Dog Trainer

Barak has spent his entire lifetime surrounded by animals as his father worked with dogs as well. As a kid Barak began watching family and friends dog be trained and was quickly intrigued. After school he decided to move to Los Angeles where he was immersed in a community of different trainers and approaches.

Working a corporate job, Barak started his own training company on the side. Quickly, he found his passion for dog psychology and started getting into working in sport dogs! In working with higher caliber dogs, Barak was fortunate enough to learn about other trainers programs and learn from their techniques.

In addition, he then began helping at risk, shelter dogs – teaching volunteers how to become better handlers. After almost three years in Los Angeles, Barak moved back to the Bay Area where started working towards competing in the sport of PSA and learning more about protection dogs.

Barak has two dogs of his own, a Belgian malinois and a Dutch shepherd. He enjoys training breeds of all types and educating owners on how to better understand the psychology behind their dogs.

Her journey with her own dog, Envy, has taught her invaluable skills and shaped her approach to training with empathy and intention.

Cana has also been incredibly fortunate to learn from her mentors Moriah and Elly, whose guidance has had a lasting impact.
